The #111 Honda Endurance Racing team has dropped out of the FIM Endurance World Championship, ewc-mag.com has learned.
The England based squad had entered the Bol d’Or in September confirming Yonny Hernandez and Sebastien Gimbert as their riders. Third rider was left open but it was highly possible to be another time Randy de Puniet.
Especially for Gimbert it will be a hard to swallow pill as this year’s edition of the Bol not only was meant to be his last participation in the event, but also his last 24 hours race of his career. Gimbert made the news public on his social media account this Tuesday morning.
